Katherine hold a BS in engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a MA in urban affairs from Boston University. She also continued her studies in sacramental theology at The Liturgical Institute. It was there she studied under theologians and architectural historians to understand the intersection of theology and the built environment. She has spent her career working for both architects and general contractors, and thus is well versed in both the design and construction sides of projects. Katherine focuses on helping to inform and educate owners, architects, clergy, and parishioners on sacred art and architecture.

Additionally, Katherine has spent the past decade researching stained glass and collaborating with studios in the United States and Germany.

Katherine works for some of the leading sacred architects and art houses around the country including Clark Architects Collaborative 3, Studio io, Foster Stained Glass, and Thistle Farm Woodworking.
